Welcome!

So here goes. Post #1. I've had some down time on the job lately and figured it might be fun to start up a blog. Some of my programming ideas are itching for critique. Maybe someone out there will even gain some productivity from one of my goofy posts.

My software development career stretches back some 20 years now (yikes!), and am loving my job at Salesforce, for the most part. I've always been somewhat anal about trying to write high-quality code. If you're a conscientious Salesforce developer, you may understand the tension between trying to develop quality code while working for a company whose tagline is, "Salesforce.com – Success. Not Software."

Hopefully you'll find something of worth here...
